Maintenance TechnicianHiFyve is partnering with an automotive manufacturer to hire Maintenance Technicians for their manufacturing facility in Columbus, Nebraska. This is a hands-on opportunity supporting highly automated production equipment in a modern manufacturing environment with excellent earning potential and long-term career growth.Position DetailsLocation: Columbus, NEShift: 1st ShiftMonday through Friday7:00 am– 3:00 PMRotating on-call schedule every 4th weekendSaturday hours paid at overtimeSunday hours paid at double timePay: $20–$41/hour (depending on experience)Job SummaryResponsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation in an automotive manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute preventive and corrective maintenance activities on production equipment.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams.Complete and properly close maintenance work orders in the required system.Identify equipment failures and perform root-cause troubleshooting.Support production by responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests.Comply with all HSE requirements, safety procedures, and required certifications, including DC-3.Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment documentation.Properly use, care for, and control company-provided tools, equipment, parts, and resources.Provide a service-oriented attitude when supporting Production and other departments.Follow LOTO and all applicable safety procedures when performing maintenance activities.QualificationsTechnical degree/certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred.Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments preferred.Knowledge of:Mechanical systemsElectrical systemsHydraulicsPneumaticsIndustrial equipment troubleshootingAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Service-oriented attitude and ability to work effectively with production teams.Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support different shifts.
