You will get dirty as it is a heavy industrial facility.
\t * 2 or 4-year degree in EE or EET or 3-5+ years equivalent experience
\t * PLC experience -- preferably Allen Bradly, some Siemens a plus -- min 1 year
\t * 480V 3-Phase power experience preferably in manufacturing
\t * Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience
\t * Ability to read electrical schematics.
\t * NFPA 70 (NEC) & 70E (electrical safety) familiarity
\t * Industrial manufacturing experience a plus
\t * Arc flash training a plus
\t * Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
\t * Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
\t * Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
\t * Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
\t * Authorized to work in the United States

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a customer's team in the Foundry Refinery industry! We are looking for someone with electrical and welding experience.
Maintenance Technician
2nd/3rd shift
2nd - 1pm-9pm M-Fri
3rd - 9pm - 5am Sunday-Thursday (leave Friday morning, come back Sunday at 9pm)
Responsibilities
\t * Inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues.
\t * Determine the reasons for any malfunctions of systems or components and create a maintenance or repair plan to solve the problem.
\t * Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment, and other components so that they remain fully functional in a production environment.
\t * Test systems with devices such as voltmeters, mergers, and ohmmeters to ensure the system remains safe and that components are compatible.
\t * Review blueprints to understand the wiring to troubleshoot component problems
\t * Provide suggestions on the lifespan of equipment and other electrical components, advising when certain components should be replaced due to potential risks.
\t * Keep records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, including a record of any supplies ordered and used.
\t * Ensure all routine maintenance work is handled on a regular schedule to reduce the risk of larger and more complex issues and to reduce costs.
\t * Three-phase and single-phase experience required 120/240/480 volt
\t * Ability to troubleshoot complex circuits
\t * Experience installing Rigid and EMT conduit up to 2"
\t * Lockout Tag out and Electrical Safety Experience
\t * Perform other duties as assigned
