Job Summary
Immediate openings are available in our Steel and Aluminum Divisions due to growth. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and perform essential maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our production facilities.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all production equipment and the building.
Utilize mechanical skills, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Install new equipment as needed.
Electrical Technician Responsibilities Possess working knowledge of PLCs; familiarity with Fanuc Controls is desirable.
Have a background in robotics; capable of reading and wiring electrical schematics.
Knowledge in wiring 480-volt circuits of motors and controls.
Experience with metal stamping, CNC machine centers, and other high-speed assembly equipment is a plus.
Qualifications Possess a two-year technical degree or higher.
Minimum of four years of experience in a maintenance position.
Working knowledge of industrial safety practices.
Ability to perform basic administrative skills, including creating work orders and documenting work performed.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work with a cross-functional team in the manufacturing process.
Commitment to continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Availability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and shutdowns.
One-hour testing will be required as part of the interview process.
Schedule
The shift follows a 2/3/2 schedule (Work, Work, Off, Off, Off, Work, Work) alternating weekly, with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. Week 1: Work 2 days (e.g., Monday and Tuesday), Off 2 days (e.g., Wednesday and Thursday), Work 3 days (e.g., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
Week 2: Off 2 days (e.g., Monday and Tuesday), Work 2 days (e.g., Wednesday and Thursday), Off 3 days (e.g., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
