Role Overview
Apply Mandarin language expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world input. Your work will help improve how AI models learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required, your Mandarin language expertise is the focus.
Key Responsibilities
Translate and interpret accurately between Mandarin and English across a range of business contexts.
Review, edit, and proofread written materials for linguistic quality and cultural relevance.
Enable clear verbal and written communication among teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Localize documents, presentations, and marketing materials for Mandarin-speaking audiences.
Partner with team members to maintain consistent messaging and high communication standards.
Stay current on linguistic trends and relevant industry and regional terminology.
Serve as a cultural liaison, helping teams navigate cross-cultural nuances and support successful engagement.
Qualifications
Native or near-native Mandarin proficiency, with exceptional written and spoken command.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Demonstrated translation, interpretation, or language-services experience in business or professional settings.
Strong attention to detail, linguistic accuracy, and cultural sensitivity.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities remotely, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a proactive communication style.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting cross-border teams or international business operations.
Familiarity with technology, finance, or marketing terminology.
Translation or language-services certification.
Work Terms
Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
$45 to $95 per hour.
