Our team thrives in a high-impact environment where cross-functional partnerships and data-driven decision-making are key to our success.Role OverviewThe Manufacturing Services II role operates computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, including lathes and milling machines, to manufacture precision parts. This role is responsible for setting up equipment, and monitoring machine operations. Ensuring parts meet required specifications and quality standards by following CAD drawings or written instructions.Key ResponsibilitiesReview drawings, CAD or instructions to understand specifications of parts to be madeTakes measurements and mark material for cuttingPlan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a jobMonitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issuesMonitor output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defectsPerform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damagesWear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)Preferred Skills and ExperienceExcellent manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detailGreat verbal and written communication skillsExperience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders etc.)Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurementsAbility to read blueprints, schematics and manualsKnowledge of metal properties and other materialOutstanding mathematical skills and analytical abilitiesMust be able to stand and walk for 6-8 hours in a workdayAbility to lift up to 50lbsEducation and TrainingVocational school or apprenticeship preferredWhat We OfferAt Mezzo Technologies, we believe that our people are our most valuable asset.
