Mechanical Or Electrical AssemblerOur client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking dedicated Mechanical and Electrical Assemblers to join their dynamic team. As a Mechanical or Electrical Assembler, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the assembly of conveyors, machines, and subassemblies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.Location: LYNCHBURG, VAPay Range: $19 - $20 per hourShift: Monday to Friday working 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (or 6:00 am to 4:30 pm when working overtime)What's the Job?Assemble conveyors, machines, and subassemblies following blueprints, schematics, and technical instructionsUse hand and power tools to fabricate and install conveyor parts, ensuring quality and functionalityInspect parts for proper machining finish and dimensionsDiagnose equipment issues and test equipment for performance and reliabilityMaintain safety standards and work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentWhat's Needed?2-5 years of experience in mechanical or electrical assemblyStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manualsProficiency with basic hand tools and power toolsAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbsReliable work ethic and attention to detailAbility to pass background and drug screenWhat's in it for me?Competitive pay rate of $19 - $20 per hourConsistent Monday to Friday schedule with overtime opportunitiesEngaging work environment with opportunities for skill developmentSupportive team culture focused on safety and qualityPotential for long-term employment within a reputable organizationIf this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
