Mechanical Insulator
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mechanical Insulator to a data center construction project. This role involves the installation, maintenance, repair, and removal of insulation on commercial and industrial mechanical systems, ensuring energy efficiency and system integrity.

Mechanical Insulator Details:
Temporary position
$30.00 to $35.00 / hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:30pm)
Shift hours may change and weekends may be required
$100 daily per diem
Install, maintain, repair, and remove insulation on diverse mechanical systems, including piping, ductwork, HVAC, plumbing, specialty piping, tanks, vessels, and various mechanical equipment
Adhere strictly to EMS, OSHA, and customer jobsite safety requirements, always prioritizing quality workmanship
Mechanical Insulator Qualifications:
OSHA 10 Certification (Required)
Demonstrated construction experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
Proficiency with hand and power tools. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and professionalism
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
Understanding of ArmaFlex/Aeroflex rubber insulation systems
Metal mechanic experience, including the ability to fabricate, cut, fit, and install thin-gauge sheet metal jacketing
Aerial Lift Certification, including operation of scissor lifts and boom lifts
Fall Protection Certification
Experience insulating chilled water piping, mechanical systems, and HVAC systems commonly found in data center environments
Ability to safely work at heights and in confined spaces
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, professional insulation installations
Applicant may be subject to a background check
