Our supportive culture is built on respect, friendliness, and a shared commitment to exceptional patient care.What You'll DoThe Medical Assistant plays a crucial role within the healthcare team at Clinic 2, our family practice clinic. They provide essential administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operations and high-quality, compassionate patient care under the supervision of a medical provider.Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.Conduct patient interviews, measure vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and accurately document this information in patients' medical records.Administer immunizations as necessary.Perform blood draws and prepare blood samples for laboratory analysis when required.Engage with patients to address any concerns or inquiries they may have.Stay informed about public health policies and procedures to ensure compliance.Who We're Looking ForCourses or experiences showing commitment, reliability, or work ethicBrings Certified Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant experience, but we'll consider all experiencesSpeaks both English and Spanish to better serve our community, but not requiredMust have a current American Heart Association BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.What We Offer Our total rewards package includesPay Range: $20.43 - $29.76 /hour (based on experience)Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, PTO from day one, extended illness time, retirement plan with match, and morePerks: Payroll deductions for hot springs, gyms, ski passes, pet insurance, access to outdoor recreation, and more!Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.Position is open until filled unless posted otherwise.Why Join Grand River Health?
