Medical AssistantFamilies First is seeking a dedicated and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. If you are passionate about healthcare and providing excellent patient care, we want to hear from you!Position: Medical AssistantLocation: South Jordan, Riverton, Bluffdale, West JordanType: Full-Time/Part TimeSchedule: To be DiscussedJob Description: In this position, as a Certified Medical Assistant, you will work alongside a provider seeing patients for both sick and well visits. Some of your duties will include rooming patients, taking patient medical history, obtaining vital signs and symptoms/complaints, collecting and preparing laboratory specimens, performing basic laboratory tests, updating patient charts, ordering various lab tests, preparing and administering medications as directed by the provider, assisting with in-office procedures (sutures, casting, circumcisions, etc.), and other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications:Certified Medical Assistant; will consider graduates from accredited programs.Previous MA work experience desired; experience in Pediatrics preferred.Ability to communicate effectively with providers, staff, and patients/parents.Capable of prioritizing multiple job demands and work in a fast-paced health care environment.Demonstrate compassion and understanding for the patient and families.Basic computer knowledge.If you are an enthusiastic Medical Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact on our patients' lives, we encourage you to apply.
