Medical AssistantsLocation: Jacksonville, FLDuration: 26 weeksShift: M-F 8am-5pmGuaranteed hours:DRESS CODE: Scrubs, preferably Navy BlueCOMPUTER SOFTWARE: Health Management System (HMS), Microsoft OfficeEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have Medical Assistant CertificationCANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide direct patient care services of a medical nature in a clinical settingKnowledge of basic medical terminologyPhlebotomy skills as well as administering IM and Subcutaneous injectionsAbility to administer and read accurate blood pressure testingInterviewing patients and obtain a complete medical historyAbility to keep accurate recordsDistribute prescribed medicationsEffective communication skills
