Job Details: Job Location: Kewanee Life Skills Re-Entry Center - Kewanee, IL 61443, Position Type: Part-Time, Education Level: Professional Degree, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Medical Physician & Advanced Practice Provider, Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a part-time Site Medical Director to join our team at Kewanee Life Skills Re-Entry Center located in Kewanee, Illinois. Kewanee is located within 1 hour of Davenport, IA.

The Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements, direct clinical services for patients, and clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Medical Director ensures efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided and participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.

Hourly rate starting at $135 per hour or higher based on years of experience.

Qualifications

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required

Active, unrestricted MD/DO Illinois license or ability to obtain

Active, unrestricted DEA

Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check

BC/BE in a primary care specialty is required

Available Shift

Monday - Friday

Day shift

No nights, holidays or weekends

Choice of 5, 8-hour shifts or 4, 10-hour shifts
