Job description
DC Army National Guard seeks a Medical Laboratory Specialist to perform clinical tests on tissue, blood, and body fluids to help diagnose and prevent illness. You’ll support the healthcare team and gain civilian lab career pathways.
Duties include performing hematology, immunohematology, chemistry, serology, bacteriology, parasitology, and urinalysis; collecting specimens; maintaining equipment; and learning lab administration. Training includes Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training.
