Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Community hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. General care patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses. Common medical diagnoses include COPD, heart failure, HTN, DM, ETOH, infection, mental status changes, and falls. Drips on the floor include insulin, heparin, and PCA. Cases include bariatric weight loss procedures; orthopedic surgeries including hip, knee, and shoulder joints; neuro spine; appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia, and endocrine cases. Uses CPM, wound VAC, lifts, and polar cares. Participates in quality improvement initiatives and the development, execution, and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need.
Floating Requirements: Floating to other units or downtown.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
