nnAS A MERCHANDISE SUPERVISOR A TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
nnCoaching, training, and retaining talent
nChampioning our credit and loyalty programs. Ensure your team can inform, educate, and promote the benefits and offerings that reward our guest and enhance their shopping experience
nExecuting store merchandising direction and standards, product flow, inventory flexing, and store operations functions to ensure consistency of brand experience
nUtilizing business reports to guide decisions and deliver high standards and results
nUnderstanding and usage of company standard software, systems, and procedures
nInspiring and motivating a team through company recognition programs
nCreating a sense of teamwork, collaboration, and engagement among associates
nPerforms other duties as assigned
n n nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A BEALLS OR HOME CENTRIC MERCHANDISE SUPERVISOR:
nnHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required
n1-2 years minimum of supervisory experience preferred
nEffective interpersonal and communication skills
nWorks well both independently and within a team environment
nStrong problem-solving skills
nUtilization of Zebra PDA, POS Systems, Microsoft Office Programs, and Payroll/Scheduling Software
nWork varying hours and schedules to include mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
n n nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
nnMust have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations
nMust be able to lift, push, pull and carry at least 20 pounds
nMust have full body rotation and mobility (i.e. – bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching)
nMust possess reliable transportation
