The Miami office of Reed Smith is seeking a mid‑level associate to join the Financial Services Litigation Group. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience representing clients in litigation and investigations involving consumer financial services, including credit litigation and mortgage litigation matters.
Applicants must have experience drafting motions and pleadings, including complaints, answers, and motions for summary judgment. The associate will participate in settlement conferences and appear before judges to argue motions.
Requirements:
Active member of the Florida Bar
3–5 years of litigation experience in consumer financial services
Proficient in drafting motions and pleadings
Experience with settlement conferences and oral argument
Preferred: bankruptcy experience
Preferred: experience with AAA or JAMS arbitration proceedings
Preferred: bilingual Spanish language skills

Compensation
$235,000 – $365,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith’s pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on location and experience.
