Mortgage Loan Processing AssistantLiberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking internal and external applications for a Mortgage Loan Processing Assistant for our Denver, CO region. The successful applicant must possess excellent member service and organizational skills. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis.Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Process mortgage loan files: Contact member within 24 hours of receiving the mortgage file to make an introduction and request supporting documents needed in addition to ensuring initial disclosures have been signed.Request and collect supporting documentation from member.Prepare letters of explanations for members.Complete income calculation worksheet.Assemble loan files in e-folder in order for submission to set-up.Request supporting documentation from third parties as needed including ordering tax transcripts as required for loan files and obtaining verification of deposit, mortgage, employment, rent, installment and revolving debt.Communicate with member regarding the status of their loan.Field and answer incoming mortgage calls.Update the loan origination system as verifications are received from the member and vendors.Clear member facing underwriting conditions imposed by underwriters.Maintain a working knowledge of all credit union mortgage products.Develop a working knowledge of the credit union's data processing system, loan origination system, Word, and Excel software.Benefits and Compensation:$ per hour plus incentives (hourly rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage)Paid HolidaysPaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick and Personal Days)Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance401(k) retirement program with matching fundsEmployer paid Group Term Life Insurance, Short Term and Long Term Disability InsuranceSection I25 Cafeteria Plan/Flexible Spending AccountTuition Reimbursement ProgramVoluntary products including Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, and Accident InsuranceThis job posting is accepting applications through August 31, 2026.Liberty FCU is an Equal Opportunity Employer, Minority/Female/Disability/Protected Veteran.
