Job description
Position OverviewnWe are seeking a dependable, organized, and caring caregiver to support our family with morning school preparation and afternoon/evening supervision for an 11-year-old child.nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with pre-teens and can provide a balance of warmth, structure, and accountability. The primary goal is to help maintain consistent daily routines, encourage independence, and provide calm, steady support before and after school.nnSchedulenMonday – Friday (Split Shift)nMorning: 6:30 AM – School Drop-Off (between 8:00–8:30 AM)nAfternoon/Evening: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PMnSchedule may be adjusted slightly by mutual agreement.nnKey ResponsibilitiesnMorning DutiesnPrepare and serve breakfastnSupport a smooth, timely morning routinenEnsure backpack, homework, water bottle, medication (if applicable), and other school items are readynTransport child safely to schoolnAfternoon / Evening DutiesnSchool pick-upnSupervise and support homework completionnEncourage and monitor completion of daily choresnAssist with evening routine (shower, preparing items for next day, etc.)nPrepare or assist with simple dinner/snacksnFoster a calm and consistent bedtime routinenLight child-related housekeeping (tidying homework area, dishes used, etc.)nnQualificationsnReliable, punctual, and organizednWarm, patient, and confident in maintaining structure and expectationsnExperience working with school-aged children preferrednValid driver’s license and clean driving recordnReliable transportationnNon-smokernComfortable communicating regularly with parents regarding routines and progressnnPreferred (Not Required)nCPR / First Aid certificationnExperience supporting executive functioning, organization skills, or neurodivergent childrennBackground in education, child development, or behavioral support
