Job description
Position Summary
The Neonatologist will join a well-established group of neonatologists and pediatric hospitalists who provide comprehensive, family-centered care across the system. The clinical commitment spans both locations for a total of 0.6–1.0 FTE, offering flexibility in scheduling and a supportive, team-based care model. Faculty appointment at Boston University School of Medicine is available, commensurate with experience, within our academic and clinical partnership.

10-bed Special Care Nursery and Well Baby Nursery at Boston Medical Center – South

Essential Responsibilities / Duties
Provide inpatient clinical care in the NICU, Special Care Nursery, and Well Baby Nursery.
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, care coordination, and family communication.
Collaborate closely with neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, nurses, and ancillary staff to deliver evidence-based neonatal care.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives across the neonatal service.
Engage in teaching of residents and medical students, as appropriate.
Education
No specific requirement listed beyond MD or equivalent degree.
Job Requirements
MD or equivalent degree.
Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Experience
Commitment to high-quality clinical care, teamwork, and serving diverse patient populations.
Compensation
Range: $250,482 to $308,364 based on FTE, qualifications, and experience. Incentive compensation may be discussed during the interview.
