About This Role
The New Grad RN Resident position at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus offers a unique opportunity for new graduates to provide exceptional patient care in a specialty surgical step-down and general medical unit. This role is ideal for those looking to gain hands‑on experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Schedule: Full-time, Rotating shifts
What You'll Do
Assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional care from initial introduction to discharge.
Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors to enhance their experience.
Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity and resource availability.
Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
Seek supervision and consultation when unable to perform safely and independently.
Document in patients’ medical records.
Requirements
Education:
Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience:
New grad or less than one year of RN work experience
Less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience if moving from non-inpatient to acute care
Licenses & Certifications:
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within the first year of employment
