Your Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting necessary diagnostic tests, and devising tailored care plans
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic ailments in conjunction with physicians or autonomously (according to your credentials)
Instructing patients and their families about preventative measures, wellness strategies, and disease management techniques
Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted by your practice scope
Engaging in patient follow-up and overseeing chronic care management
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to provide integrated, patient-centered care
Keenly documenting patient interactions and care plans within electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications We Are Looking For
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Kentucky
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or other specialty equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to achieve within 90 days)
