Your Role and Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient examinations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and developing personalized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues, working collaboratively with physicians or independently as your credentials allow
Providing education to patients and their families about prevention, wellness strategies, and health management
Prescribing medications and therapies aligned with practice guidelines

Essential Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Licensure and Certification Requirements
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of South Dakota
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
