nSummary:
nProvides medical care in support of professional medical staff. Provides a variety of medical services to patients in accordance with established laws and procedures. Works cooperatively with other health professionals under the direct supervision of a physician.
nResponsibilities:
nEDUCATION
nnnGraduate from an accredited school of nursing
n
nnMaintains a current New York State Professional RN license
n
nnCompletion of an accredited program for Nurse Practitioners
n
nnMaintains Adult, Acute Care or Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
n
nnMaster’s degree preferred
n
n nEXPERIENCE
nnnThree (3) years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
n
nnExperience in family practice/specialty setting preferred
n
n nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY
nnnCertification in CPR and annual re-certification required
n
nnACLS certification preferred
n
nnKnowledge of Patient Centered Medical Home, with MIPS, HEDIS requirements preferred
n
n nWORKING CONDITIONS:
