Job description
The Nursing Operations Manager at Cleveland Clinic's Mercy Hospital is responsible for overseeing patient assignments and staffing in the 4A Transitional Care Unit and 4M Medical Telemetry Unit. This role is ideal for a nurse with an acute care medical telemetry background who is looking to advance their career in a leadership position.

Schedule: Full-time, Variable shift
What You’ll Do
Round on the 4A Transitional Care Unit and 4M Medical Telemetry Unit to assess patient assignments.
Document pertinent information regarding staffing.
Ensure safe staffing and appropriate patient placement.
Identify and facilitate patient flow transactions, including admissions and transfers.
Address significant patient issues and staffing needs throughout the hospital.
Communicate changes with relevant leaders.
Manage the patient experience to optimize resources for a safe environment.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of professional nursing
Experience: Three years of experience in an acute care setting
One to two years of management experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
