Job description
Monday-Friday 3PM-11PM
Seacoast Rehab & Nursing Center has a 3PM-11PM Nursing Supervisor opening with a Monday-Friday schedule. The candidate needs to be either a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing. The right candidate will supervise our nursing staff on our short term and long term care units. Located in Gloucester, we are a short and easy commute away from Salem, Peabody, Lynn, Essex and Danvers! We are focused on one goal: providing an exceptional experience for our residents and staff. SHIFT: Monday-Friday 3PM-11PM, weekend on call rotation
Seacoast is located at 292 Washington St in Gloucester, MA

Requirements for Nursing Supervisor:
Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification
Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred. Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care
Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills
Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
Job Duties for Nursing Supervisor:
Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges
Supervise nurses and CNAs
Manage staffing changes
Support family inquiries and screen visitors
Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions
Ensure high quality resident/patient care
Provide support to ancillary staff as needed
