Job description
Make a meaningful difference in students' lives as a school-based Occupational Therapist on a contract assignment near Evansville, WY. In this rewarding role, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to empower students to achieve their fullest potential within their educational environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings strongly preferred
Ability to develop and implement tailored treatment plans
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
Perform student evaluations and re-evaluations to assess functional needs
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student goals
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and progress
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
Offer training and consultation for school staff to support classroom integration
Stay current with industry standards and implement best practices in pediatric OT
