Desired Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Mississippi (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience providing OT services in school settings preferred
Strong communication and organizational abilities
Capability to manage a diverse caseload of students
Dedication to fostering students' independence and participation in everyday activities
Key Responsibilities: Assess students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans to maximize their educational success
Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to ensure best outcomes for each student
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Support school-wide initiatives to enhance accessibility and student engagement
