Overview
nPosition: Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapist
nLocation: Port Richey, FL
nSchedule: Monday–Friday | M 8-6, T 8-1, W 8-6 Th 8-6 and F 8-5
nCompensation: Starting at $75,000+/year, based on experience
nIncentives: $20,000 sign-on bonus + $350/month student loan repayment
nSelect Physical Therapy is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center in Port Richey, FL. We treat a wide range of upper extremity conditions including tendon injuries, sprains, strains, and post-op fractures. Splinting experience is preferred.

nnnCertified Hand Therapists (CHT)

nnExperienced OTs with at least 1 year of hand therapy experience
n
nnIn lieu of experience, OT with Select Therapy Hand Rotation Level 2
n
n nYou’ll work in a well-equipped center alongside top hand surgeons, using evidence-based practices and individualized care plans. We offer mentorship toward CHT certification and are part of a thriving national Hand Therapy program.

nResponsibilities
nnnResponsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
n
nnDevelop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
n
nnMaintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
n
nnStay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
n
n nQualifications
nnnGraduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
n
nnActive national registration and state licensure (required at start)
n
nnCPR certification
n
nnValid state driver’s license
n
nnOpen to experienced OTs with at least 1 year of current hand therapy experience. In leiu of experience, OT with Select Therapy Hand Rotation Level 2
