nPosition Description: OR Care Technician I
nnnThe OR Care Technician I is a member of the health care team who performs direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of and oversight of an RN.
n
nnResponsible for supplies / equipment and performs other duties as assigned including, but not limited to the preparation of patients for surgery / procedures; assists in the operating room during surgery and in the recovery room; and performs support duties to include the cleaning and maintenance of supplies, instruments, and sterilizers.

nShift Hours: 10
nWeekend Work: Occasional
nOn Call: Yes
nMinimum Requirements:
n· Required: 1-year experience in patient care
n· High School Diploma or Equivalent
n· Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
nPreferred Requirements:
n· Specialized education in PCT, LPN, EMT, MA, or CNA
nSpecific Skills:
