Baer is looking for Oracle Analytic Cloud Developer for a 9-month Federal remote Project
Title: Oracle Analytic Cloud Developer
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 9 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Overview:
The Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Developer is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business decision-making. This role focuses on production support, issue resolution, data accuracy, and performance optimization within OAC environments. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in OAC, SQL, data modeling, and data integration, with experience troubleshooting analytics solutions and collaborating with business and technical teams.
Description:
Develop, enhance, and maintain OAC reports, dashboards, analyses, and data visualizations based on business requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve client-reported issues related to report logic, data discrepancies, access permissions, and performance.
Support OAC data models and semantic layers, including subject areas, joins, hierarchies, and calculations.
Write and optimize SQL queries to validate data, investigate issues, and improve reporting performance.
Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate with data engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve production issues.
Implement analytics enhancements and validate reports following data model changes, ETL updates, or platform upgrades.
Support data integration processes and troubleshoot data pipeline issues using Oracle Data Integration Cloud Services or similar tools.
Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting procedures, and support records.
Assist with OAC administration, including user and role management, environment monitoring, and configuration checks, as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, accurate, and high-performing analytics solutions.
Requirements:
7+ years of advanced experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Data Integration Cloud Services, Data Engineering, and SQL.
Hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
Advanced proficiency in OCI, OAC, Oracle Data Integration Cloud Services, Data Engineering, and SQL (P3).
Strong knowledge of data modeling, semantic layers, relational databases, and data warehousing.
Experience in SQL development, data validation, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools such as ODI, Informatica, or Talend.
Experience supporting production analytics environments and resolving data and reporting issues.
Knowledge of OAC administration and cloud-based data pipelines is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Bachelor’s Degree
