Seasonal Cover Driver (with Warehouse Support)
Become a key part of our UPS team in a dynamic combo role, with a strong focus on driving! At this time of year, you'll primarily serve as a Seasonal Cover Driver making $23/hour , stepping in to support delivery operations and keep things moving. When needed, you'll also be trained to assist as a Seasonal Warehouse Worker making $21/hour .
Your day-to-day assignment will vary based on business needs such as package volume, staffing needs, and seasonal demand. You may rotate between driving and warehouse duties—sometimes week to week, and other times spending extended periods in one role before transitioning to the other.

Please Note: This is a seasonal position; schedules may vary and can include Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak delivery periods.
Cover Driver Responsibilities
* Typically work 8 to 10 hours per day, Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday depending on operational needs
* Safely operate UPS package delivery vehicles
* Deliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer service
* Work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in and out of customer locations
* Meet all UPS driver qualification standards and requirements
Occasionally, you may work inside the facility as a Seasonal Warehouse Worker
* Typically work 3.5 to 5 hours per day, Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday
* Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment
* Report on the assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover Driver
What you'll need:
* Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
* Stamina - this is a workout like no other!
* Valid driver's license—no CDL required (License type varies by state - proof required to qualify for the position)
* Satisfactory driving history
* Pass the DOT physical
* Pass a UPS driver test
* Excellent customer contact and driving skills

* Cover drivers are expected to comply with UPS driver appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform
* Authorized to work in the U.S.

*This is a seasonal role. A seasonal job is a great place to start at UPS.
