Job description
Job Title: Painter
Under moderate supervision, performs a wide variety of skilled painting duties at a company facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Paints, varnishes, stains, enamels, lacquers, and redecorates walls, woodwork, and fixtures of the facility.
Mixes paint and matches colors.
Uses brushes, sprayers, or rollers to apply paint or other coatings.
Removes old finish using scrapers, chemical compounds, or blowtorches.
Fills in nail holes, joints and cracks in walls with plaster or fillers.
Estimates time and material costs on painting and redecorating projects.
Completes purchase requisitions to obtain new painting supplies and equipment.
Performs additional duties as requested.
The pay and benefits you'll get as a Painter:
Starting salary of $17.55 - $26.30 per hour depending on experience

The hours and location you'll work as a Painter with WM:
Monday – Friday
First Shift 6:00 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. or 7:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M., overtime required
No weekends

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
1 year experience

Field: This job operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.
