Part-time CustodianOscoda Area Schools announces the need for part-time custodian (this is an internal and external posting).Position: Part-time custodianEffective Date: TBDHours: 4 hours per dayDuties: General cleaning of facilities including, but not limited to sweeping and scrubbing floors, cleaning windows and minor maintenance Mixing and applying floor-protection chemicals Painting Repairing/replacing electrical mechanisms, plumbing pipes and fixtures Minor general construction (repair and/or new) Removing waste materials Any other duties needed for good custodial practices Other duties as assignedQualifications: High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent Ability to work independently or as a team member Ability to follow directions (written or spoken) Knowledge and background in general cleaning practices Knowledge of good safety practices Ability to operate lawn equipment, fork lift, and other heavy equipment Familiarity in areas of cleaning, electrical, plumbing work and construction Ability to regularly lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds Ability to use tools and equipment necessary to do required duties Ability to stand on step and/or extension ladders and scaffolding for extended periods Ability to be continually on your feetQuestions: Should be directed to Christina Ruedisueli, Transportation/Custodial Supervisor at .Apply to: All interested applicants must submit a letter of interest, resume, plus any other supportive materials for review and consideration to: Susan Barnhart, District General Manager Oscoda Area Schools 3550 River Road, P.O.
