Job description
Part Time School Safety OfficerThe district is in need of a part time school safety officer. Job Goal: To assist with maintaining the safety of staff and students, and the security of the facilities. Qualifications: Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Prior experience as a police officer or a school safety officer preferred. Prior successful experience working with students preferred. Hold and maintain a valid New Jersey driver's license with no serious violations. Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community. Criminal history approval required. Report to principal or designee. Meet such alternative qualifications to those aforementioned that the Superintendent may determine appropriate. Rate of pay is $27.00 per hour 4 Hours Per Day (schedule to be determined). Applicants must apply online by October 16, 2026. This position will remain open until filled.
