Job description
The Universal Banker is an entry level position responsible for the assistance in the execution of sales, products or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The overall objective of this role is to foster relations with customers to build loyalty and to help increase sales to individual consumer clients.
nResponsibilities:
nnnAssist in basic account opening for existing customer
n
nnProvide service delivery to internal/external customers to resolve account service issues
n
nnExecute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures
n
nnRefer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate
n
nnCreate sales opportunities out of service transaction and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly and effectively
n
nnSupport sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
n
nnAdhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets
n
nnAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

n nQualifications:
nnn1-3 years of relevant experience
n
nnPrevious Retail Banking or similar experience required
n
nnConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
n
n nEducation:
nnHigh School diploma or equivalent

nThe branch location for this position is pending to be determined based on the area market's needs. Therefore must be open to working at any of the branches in the Maryland/Capitol area.

n$47,510.00 - $61,990.00
nSalary shown is for full-time positions and will be prorated for part-time hires based on number of hours worked.
nThe hourly rate corresponding to the annual range is:
n$22.84 - $29.80
