Job description
Role: Patient Care Coordinator
Type: Contract
Provides a high level of customer service to patients, referral sources, and fellow employees.
Maintains accurate and complete patient files and documentation in accordance with Company policies and established procedures.
Protects the privacy and security of protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA and applicable privacy requirements.
Efficiently manages multiple phone lines and responds to patient, referral source, and internal inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Zero to One Year of customer service, administrative, healthcare, or related experience required.
Previous experience in a receptionist, patient services, medical office, or healthcare front office environment preferred.
Experience working with patient information, insurance verification, scheduling, or electronic medical records is preferred.
