We are the partner of choice for health systems and radiologists, delivering best-in-class clinical excellence, operations, and state-of-the-art technology across our platform.Full-time Patient Service Representative SupervisorMust be willing to travel between Huntsville & Madison centers:2338 Whitesburg Dr SW, Huntsville, AL Wann Dr Suite 100, Madison, AL 35758Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pmAmerican Health Imaging is actively searching for a Patient Service Representative Supervisor to join our team in Huntsville and Madison, Alabama - must be willing to travel between Huntsville & Madison centers as business operations require. The Patient Service Representative Supervisor is responsible for creating and maintaining a positive, welcoming environment for all patients, families, and visitors while performing the requested duties. These duties will include interviewing patients and/or families to obtain all demographic and financial information, scheduling and confirming patient appointments, verifying patient insurance, explaining financial responsibility to patient or patient representative, and collecting same-day payments.Additional Responsibilities:Manages the training and onboarding of new team membersParticipates in the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processLeads regular staff meetings and associate one-on-onesMonitors and approves timecardsInitiates and participates in staff performance evaluations and on-going development of team members including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and/ or terminations when necessaryDefines job responsibilities/specialty tasks and prioritiesDevelops and monitors the teams' performance through a QA processEstablishes employee schedules to provide for planned time off, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and adequate department coverage (5%)Completes other tasks and projects as assignedRequirements :1-4 Years Experience in Medical Office/Hospital/Healthcare SettingExperience in Authorizations and Insurance Verification PreferredAbility to Handle Heavy Patient VolumeStrong Customer Service and Computer SkillsAbility to multi-taskMedical Terminology KnowledgeHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Excellent customer service skillsRobust Benefits includeMonthly Bonus OpportunityMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance & Pharmacy Plans (with Benefits effective first day of the month following your hire date!)401(k) with employer contributionPaid Vacation TimePTO Accrual Beginning Day 1Colleague Referral Bonus ProgramPlease note that eligibility for benefits is based on position type and status and certain positions may not be eligible for all the benefits listed above.Compensation is determined based on several factors, including experience, certifications, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and business needs.
