Pediatric Surgeon Locum Tenens Opportunity Richmond, VA We are seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment with a well-established pediatric surgery practice in Richmond, Virginia.

Practice Details Pediatric surgery practice caring for patients from newborns through adolescence
Clinic coverage Monday Friday
Shared inpatient and call responsibilities
Epic EMR
Schedule Clinic: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Night Call: Monday Friday, 8:00 PM 8:00 AM
Weekend Call: 24-hour coverage
Responsibilities Outpatient clinic and surgical consultations
Rounding on admitted patients
Weekend surgical consults as needed
Emergency Department consults (approximately 0 2 calls per day)
Low-volume emergent surgery program
Average patient volume: 0 4 patients per day
Call Requirements 15-minute maximum callback time for emergency consults
30-minute maximum response time
Requirements Board Certified Pediatric Surgery
Active BLS Certification
Active PALS Certification
Active Virginia license preferred
