Job description
Role Overview: Provides comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to promote safety, satisfaction, and positive outcomes. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, addresses physical and psychosocial needs, and ensures optimal patient and family experiences.
Responsibilities: Conducts assessments, develops and coordinates care plans, administers treatments and medications, and evaluates intervention effectiveness. Initiates collaboration with healthcare professionals, troubleshoots equipment issues, and participates in evidence-based practice and quality safety initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing specialty training program, with the ability to meet unit standards. Demonstrates compassionate patient interactions, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous learning. Flexibility to work a minimum of 24 hours per schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Key Duties: Provides direct patient care, educates patients and families, participates in discharge planning, and actively engages in team and organizational goals. Contributes to a safe, supportive environment and quality improvement activities.
