Job description
This opportunity offers per diem staffing in a dynamic retail grocery pharmacy setting within Cuyahoga Falls, OH, as part of a new pilot partnership. The assignment begins with coverage in the Canton area, with potential expansion to additional locations based on success. The position offers flexible, as-needed shifts ideal for pharmacists seeking intermittent work with consistent availability.
Responsibilities include:
Filling prescriptions and counseling patients in a high-volume retail pharmacy averaging around 800 prescriptions per week
Collaborating with 2-3 pharmacy technicians during shifts
Maintaining compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements
Supporting multiple locations with the ability to float as needed
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Ohio Pharmacist license
Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred
Dependability and ability to provide consistent staffing coverage
Flexibility to float between locations in the area
Pharmacy Details: Retail grocery pharmacy environment utilizing McKesson EnterpriseRx
Training and onboarding provided including store-specific training and a smock for shifts
