Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging for obstetric and high-risk perinatal patients. In this role, you will perform detailed fetal, maternal, and gynecologic ultrasounds, optimizing images and documenting findings per established protocols. You will collaborate closely with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, OB providers, and nurses to support timely clinical decisions. Responsibilities include educating and supporting patients, ensuring equipment readiness and safety, maintaining accurate EMR/PACS documentation, and participating in quality improvement and ongoing clinical education within our collaborative, patient-centered care team.
