Family Medicine Physician Opportunity in Albuquerque, NM
Join a vibrant healthcare team in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as a full-time Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician! This position allows you to work in a professional and patient-centered environment at a renowned primary and pediatric care center, providing comprehensive family medical services from infants to retirees.
Job Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
Perform comprehensive physical examinations
Develop individualized treatment plans
Promote wellness and preventive care
Coordinate specialty referrals when appropriate
Order and interpret diagnostic testing
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Supervise a team of Nurse Practitioners (NPs)
Work within a value-based care model, outside of traditional fee-for-service
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Experience in a full-spectrum family medicine practice
Clean background with no malpractice or license issues
Proficiency in using EMR documentation systems
Ability to manage a caseload of 8-14 patients per day
License and Certification Requirements:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration
New Mexico medical license preferred, will consider applicants needing to obtain a NM license
