Job description
An immediate opening is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee a community center pharmacy. This full-time contract position begins ASAP with training scheduled for mid to late next week and a start date on 6/29. The assignment is expected to last 6 to 8 weeks or until a permanent placement is made.
Location:
Anderson, CA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Responsibilities: Lead pharmacy operations as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge.
Supervise pharmacy technicians and collaborate closely with healthcare providers at the center.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and pharmacy best practices.
Utilize the New Leaf pharmacy system (training provided if needed).
Desired Experience: Recent experience in retail pharmacy.
Strong leadership skills in supervising pharmacy staff.
Ability to adapt quickly and maintain high standards in a community pharmacy environment.
Support: You will have experienced pharmacy technicians providing strong support throughout the assignment.
