Job description
A Pharmacist opportunity is available at an outpatient pharmacy connected to a hospital in Willits, CA. This contract position offers day shifts and a duration of 16 weeks or more, with a need for someone to start promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately fill and verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
Oversee and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians
Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications, addressing any questions or concerns
Utilize Cerner pharmacy systems efficiently as part of daily operations
Desired Qualifications: Valid California Pharmacist license
Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
Comfortable with compensation that is reasonable for the market
Location: Willits, California, at an outpatient pharmacy linked to a hospital facility
Schedule: Day shifts, with specific hours to be confirmed upon hiring
