Job description

PhlebotomistWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled phlebotomist to join our team. This role involves both out-patient and in-patient responsibilities, ensuring high-quality care and accurate specimen collection.Out-Patient Responsibilities:Perform blood draws throughout the day, averaging 6 to 12 draws per hour.Work primarily in the same room for most of the shift.In-Patient Responsibilities:Move throughout the hospital facility to collect blood samples from patients.Respond to emergency/code situations to collect blood samples (training will be provided).Collect and recollect various specimen samples.Spin down and freeze specimens as required.General Responsibilities:Perform data entry for all collected samples.Utilize a positive patient ID system to ensure accuracy and patient safety.Skills:Phlebotomy, Venipuncture, Data entry, Customer Service, Medical Assistant, Blood draw, Venipuncture, Specimen collection, Geriatrics, Specimen processingTop Skills Details:phlebotomy, venipunctureAdditional Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDValid driver's licensePay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
