Phlebotomists Needed For Federal Healthcare ContractAsa Healthcare Staffing is actively recruiting experienced phlebotomists for an upcoming federal healthcare staffing contract supporting the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas.We are seeking dependable, professional, and experienced phlebotomists who are comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment serving our nation's veterans.Position Details:Full-time, part-time & PRN opportunitiesDay, evening, night, weekend & holiday shifts availableHospital inpatient & outpatient settingsGovernment facility / long-term opportunityCompetitive pay: $23–$27/hrPotential overtime opportunitiesRapid onboarding for qualified candidatesResponsibilities:Venipuncture and specimen collectionInpatient and outpatient blood drawsDifficult sticks including geriatric and oncology patientsProper patient identification and specimen labelingMaintain HIPAA and patient confidentiality standardsProvide excellent customer service and patient careRequirements:Minimum 2 years of recent phlebotomy experiencePhlebotomy certification requiredBLS certification requiredExperience in hospital settings preferredMust be reliable and professionalAbility to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidaysPreferred Experience:VA or government facility experience a plus, but not requiredHigh-volume specimen collectionInpatient hospital experienceExperience with difficult venipunctureWhy Asa Healthcare Staffing?Nurse-led healthcare staffing companyFederal healthcare contract opportunitiesStable long-term assignmentsGrowth opportunitiesSupportive recruiting and credentialing team
