JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD- Profession: Physician Specialty: Anesthesiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Gettysburg, PA Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Nov 16, 2026 Feb 15, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: Days with rotation; schedule varies: 5x8s or 2x8s plus 24-hour call On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour call shifts as part of rotation PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Patient Volume/Census: 10 per day Case Mix: Orthopedic, General, Obstetrics, Cardiology FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 76 beds total; 4 ORs, L&D, Cath Lab EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, for urgent needs with clean file Credentialing Timeline: 90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Regional anesthesia (blocks) for orthopedic cases JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active PA license Board: BC or BE in Anesthesiology DEA: Yes Certifications: ACLS Experience: Minimum 1 year DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide anesthesia care for surgical cases including orthopedics, obstetrics, and cardiac catheterization. Perform regional anesthesia and nerve blocks for orthopedic procedures. Collaborate with CRNAs and anesthesia technicians to manage patient care. Participate in on-call rotation including 24-hour call shifts as scheduled. Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR.
