Overview
At UCHealth, our mission is simple - to improve lives. UCHealth Medical Group and the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic in Colorado Springs are welcoming a Physician Assistant to their team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, interested in working full-time and focused on excellent patient care.
Position details: Located at UCHealth Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic - Colorado Springs; schedule is Monday–Friday with one weekend every 4 weeks.
Responsibilities
Provide physician assistant services as part of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic team.
Requirements For Physician Assistants
Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado
Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) required for hire and maintained during employment
Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications commonly prescribed in practice
Eligible to provide reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid
Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities
Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges
Prescriptive authority as appropriate per medical staff privileging
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience
Surgery First Assistant experience required; Plastic and reconstructive surgery experience is preferred
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive compensation package: $104,418 – $149,142 annually (dependent on experience)
