Internal Medicine - Cardiology Physician Opportunity in Baton Rouge, LA

License/Certifications: Active Louisiana medical license required

Experience: Prior cardiology experience preferred

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour

What You ll Do

Provide inpatient cardiology care, including rounding and consultations

Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and communicate with referring providers

Read and interpret diagnostic hospital studies

Conduct outpatient clinic visits, follow-up, and imaging review

Engage in on-site visits, testing review, and patient follow-up when on hospital rotation

Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care

Supervise Physician Assistants as the supervising physician

What You Need

Active supervising Louisiana medical license

Board-certified or eligible in cardiology

Proven experience managing inpatient and outpatient cardiology cases

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Commitment to long-term partnership and patient care excellence
