We are actively searching for a qualified physician to join our team and provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages in a community health center setting. This locum tenens position offers a consistent daytime schedule with the potential to extend into a longer-term commitment.Thrive in a Supportive Environment: Comprehensive Care: Deliver a broad spectrum of primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, urgent care needs, and basic procedures, for a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics. Team-Based Approach: Collaborate closely with a dedicated medical assistant, mental health therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Streamlined Workflow: Utilize the familiar EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and patient management. Supportive Community: Immerse yourself in a welcoming community health center environment dedicated to serving migrants, refugees, and vulnerable populations. Interpretive services are readily available to assist with communication needs.We Value Your Expertise:We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine physician with a valid and active Washington state license and DEA number. While not mandatory, fluency in a second language would be a valuable asset. A minimum of two years of experience in a community health center setting, or a strong desire to work with underserved populations, is preferred.Fast-Paced Environment with Streamlined Onboarding: Efficient Onboarding: Benefit from a streamlined onboarding process with a one-week orientation followed by the opportunity to begin seeing patients by day three. High Patient Volume: Be prepared to manage a patient schedule of up to 21 patients per day, with the understanding that the actual number may vary depending on cancellations.
