Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician Elkins, WV Join a leading facility in Elkins, West Virginia, as an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician! This contract offers a rewarding opportunity to support labor and delivery in a collaborative environment, starting ASAP through December 7, 2026. Quick Facts Location: Elkins, WV Start Date: 12/07/2026 End Date: 06/07/2027 Shift: 24-hour call shifts (07:00 - 07:00) Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: Board Certification, BLS, ACLS Experience: 5+ years preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $2,340 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time according to applicable state, federal, and local laws Licensure, certification, travel, and related reimbursements 24/7 dedicated support team to ensure your success during the assignment What You ll Do Provide OB/GYN services, including all standard procedures for labor and delivery Support staff onsite, including labor and delivery nurses, pediatrics, and anesthesia Respond to critical cases within 10 minutes of hospital, on a rotating weekly schedule Manage an average of one birth per day in a maternal care setting Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care Document patient interactions accurately using the Paragon EMR system What You Need Required: Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology DEA license BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as an OB/GYN Preferred: Willingness to license in WV (for providers with IMLC) Strong procedural skills in all OB/GYN procedures About the Assignment This position is located at a leading facility in Elkins, WV, specializing in Labor and Delivery. The role involves providing critical OB/GYN care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. No clinic hours are involved; focus is solely on 24-hour call shifts supporting labor and delivery services.
